Austin Heights is surrounded with prize-winning gardens which glows with colour most of the year around. Guests enjoy strolling around or  just relaxing in the garden setting.  Each apartment has all the comforts of home and the most comfy of beds. Our guests always comment on this.

We are happy to arrange bookings and activities for the Dolphin, Seal and Albatross Encounters, whalewatching, fishing charters, and quad bikes etc. We also have a complimentry pick-up and delivery service from the bus or train.

Laundry and drying facilities are available to use.

We are within walking distance to to the Seal Colony which is one of the most visited points in New Zealand. Plus we are handy to the start of Kaikoura's beautiful Coastal Peninsula walkway and just  around the corner from the "Look out" point.

 The beachfront is a 10-minute walk from Austin Heights. There is a fresh Seafood BBQ operating on the waterfront almost all year round which is very popular. At the end of your fun-packed day you may like to indulge in our Luxury Hydrotherapy outdoor Spa and admire our beautiful night sky.
